High Commission of India Kuala Lumpur Presents "SANGAM" Celebration of India Languages
Proud Moment:Representing
Marathi Language at the High Commission of India Kuala
Lumpur, Malaysia
I am thrilled and honored to share a special moment with
all of you! Recently, I had the incredible opportunity
to represent Maharashtra & Marathi Language at the
esteemed High Commission of India.
To my utmost delight, my poem received heartfelt
appreciation from none other than the distinguished High
Commissioner of India, Mr. B.N. Reddy, and the
remarkable Ms. Amrita Dash, Counsellor "Though it was a
Marathi poem but you broke the language barrier and it
touched the hearts of each and every person present in
the auditorium." Their words truly touched my soul.
This recognition means a lot because it's not only
celebrates the beauty of the Marathi language but also
acknowledges the power of art in transcending boundaries
and connecting people from diverse backgrounds. It's a
testament to the rich cultural heritage of Maharashtra
and the talent that lies within our community.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the
High Commissioner of India, Mr. B.N. Reddy, and Ms.
Amrita Dash for their kind words and encouragement. I am
humbled by their appreciation and honored to have been
given this platform to showcase the beauty of Marathi
poetry.
I would also like to thank to Mrs. Manisha
Gawale-Shinde, Mrs. Roops Siddhu, and Maharashtra Mandal
Kuala Lumpur to assist me throughout this journey.
Unwavering support and encouragement by India in
Malaysia (High Commission of India, Kuala Lumpur) have
been my driving force too.
Lastly, I hope it inspires fellow artists and language
enthusiasts to embrace their roots, break barriers, and
showcase the beauty of their own language and culture.
Let us continue to celebrate and preserve the diversity
of languages that make our country so vibrant and
remarkable.
